I’m so excited to share one of my favourite recipes for homemade raw, vegan protein bars with you!  These are my go to bars for pre or post workouts and I always keep a fresh batch ready at home for a clean snack for anytime a craving strikes!

Watch as I prepare a batch of these delicious bars in a few minutes!

What You Need:
First Layer
1 Cup Ground Organic Coconut Flour
4 Scoops SUNWARRIOR Vanilla Protein Powder OR Raw Vegan Protein Powder of Your Choice
3 Tbsp Extra Virgin Coconut Oil OR Coconut Butter (softened)
20-25 Drops Vanilla Creme Stevia OR Sweetener of Your Choice (2 Tbsp Maple Syrup works great here too!)
Pinch Pink Himalayan Crystal Salt
Second Layer
1 Cup Medjool Dates (soaked for at least 2 hours, I soak mine overnight)
1/2 Cup Mulberries (dried)
1/2 Cup Pecans
2 Tbsp Organic Chia Seeds
1/2 Cup Walnuts (soaked & dried)
2 Tbsp Maca Root Powder (optional)
1 Ripe Banana
1 Tbsp Cinnamon
1/8 Tsp Nutmeg:

Making It Happen:
1. In a food processor, blend all ingredients for First Layer into a dough-like consistency
2. Pat First Layer into an 8 inch square pan
3. In a food processor, blend all ingredients for Second Layer until thoroughly combined, scraping down the sides if necessary and spoon over the First Layer. Level off with a spatula or spoon to even it out
4. Top with additional ground nuts if you wish and freeze for at least 3 hours (I freeze mine overnight)
5. Remove from freezer and cut into bars
